One of the most vital elements toward the maintenance and care of any vehicle is engine oil. Components within the engine must be lubricated, or stress and other factors will look to break down what is most important to a "well-oiled machine" and parts therein. And, should the oil pan emblem be flashing on your instrument panel, it could be too late to stave off engine stressors and component failure. Considerable mention should be made regarding routine oil changes and the benefits therein.

You may inspect the oil yourself by removing the dipstick. Should the residual be dark in color, the oil needs to be replaced with that amber in color. And with this comes an oil filter change, followed by a thorough replenishment or leveling off of all fluids in systems that require fluids. After this, a multi-point inspection is undertaken, ensuring your vehicle is safe and well-maintained.
